WELCOME TO YOKUK — A FOUNDATION FOR THE DISABLED & UNDERPRIVILEGED
Creating meaningful lives through community-based interventions
A foundation for rehabilitative therapy, palliative care, welfare services, and educational training.
What We Do
Our team of physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and their assistants carry out various therapy sessions at the centre as well as at our clients’ homes.
We conduct vocational training for our special young adults, free of charge, to help clients develop the right competencies to enter the workforce. We also conduct support group sessions for caregivers and family members as well as workshops to uplift the skills of our clients and staff members.
We provide comprehensive nursing care, including health education, moral and spiritual support, to bedridden clients to improve their quality of life.
We help our clients solve day-to-day challenges by providing aid such as transport, house repairs, financial help, and work placements. We also provide schools with nutritional meals in rural parts of Kelantan.
Get Involved & Make A Difference
Send us a contribution that goes towards free therapy sessions and vocational classes, sponsoring a family, or our horses for therapy.
Work with us to create an impact on the community and meet your community social responsibilities.
Sign up to be a YOKUKteer and fundraise for us, join home visits with us, groom our horses, play music in our MAD classes and so much more.
Buy Kelantanese foods such as murtabak & serunding at Myiesha, our charity e-shop. Proceeds go to the running of the foundation.
We’ve reached out to thousands of clients all over Kelantan
Through our various programmes within and outside the centre, we have helped clients of all ages and from all walks of life. This is made possible only through generous sponsorships and donations from people like you!
